You can order a new certificate by clicking "Order" > "Order SSL Certificate".
On the next screen, you first need to choose the hosting account on which you plan to have the certificate installed, or select "Standalone SSL" if you don't plan to have the certificate installed on our servers.
Then you need to choose the type of certificate you want to order, and the certificate validity. You will see a list of the certificates we offer, along with the certificate issuer.
After that, you need to specify the type of installation that you want us to perform. If the certificate will be installed on our servers, and you are uncertain which type of installation to select, you can go for an installation without a dedicated IP address. If you would be ordering a certificate that will be installed on a third-party system, you should select the "No installation" option.
The details of the certificate need to be specified under "Certificate information (CSR)". The Common name needs to be the host name of the website. It may be www.your_domain_name.com or some_subdomain.your_domain_name.com. If you are purchasing a wildcard certificate, the common name needs to start with *. (e.g. *.your_domain_name.com).
Once your order has been confirmed, our team will keep you updated via email on the status of the certificate.
Until the certificate is issued and installed, its status will show up as "Processing" in the interface.
At the "Hosting Resources" > "SSL Certificates" section, you can see a list of all certificates that are installed on your accounts, as well as all certificates ordered through us. If the columns "Registration Status" and "Type" contain information, this means that the certificate is ordered and managed through us. Certificates with empty "Registration Status" and "Type" are not ordered through our service, but are installed on some of your hosting accounts.
For any certificate, no matter whether purchased through us or not, this section contains information about the certificate expiration date, as well as the account it is installed on.
For certificates ordered through us that are due to expire in less than 60 days, you will see a renewal button that you can use to purchase your next certificate.

The renewal of an existing SSL certificate represents the issuance of a new certificate by the certificate authority (CA). This involves the submission of a new certificate signing request, the issuance of the new certificate by the authority, and the installation of the new certificate on the hosting server.
Generally, certificate authorities allow renewal only when a certificate is close to its expiration. Also, they would extend the validity of the new certificate so that it expires one year after the expiration date of the current certificate. Certificates issued on or after September 1, 2020 should have a lifetime of 398 days or less, otherwise they won't be trusted by most browsers.
The certificate authorities that we use allow certificate renewals 33 days or less until the certificate expiration date.
If you attempt to renew a certificate sooner than the allowed renewal periods, you might see a "This certificate cannot be renewed at the moment" error message in the administrative interface. In this case, you need to allow more time and go through the renewal process again within the renewal period.
